A beautiful setting with wonderfully welcoming staff. Every one we met was lovely and so helpful. Massage/facial were good and the pool area was pleasantly quiet. Had the dinner and breakfast deal, dinner was nice (bit limited on choice) and breakfast was vast! A lovely relaxing break!

The midweek spa package for two is excellent value for money. We stayed from 10:30am-5pm using the gym, spinning room, pool and spa. During that time we had lunch (not included in package) at the trophy room (only one vegan option sadly and slightly slow service). We then had two 25min treatments (back and neck massage and facial) which were excellent. The relaxation room was a treat too. Then more time back in the spa. Overall it was great but as this is a family hotel there were a few kids in the pool playing, so it wasn't a totally relaxing environment. Some maintenance of the spa area is needed to make it really feel like a day spa. It would also be nice to have easy access to drinks in the spa. Overall great value and would visit again but not for a really special occasion.

Great reception and service nothing was too much trouble. The facilities and grounds were great. Three course evening meal and breakfast were outstanding really great quality. The Swedish massage treatment and relaxation was amazing only wish it was longer. The hotel was looking a little tired in places but undergoing a refurbishment however this did not detract from the overall experience.

Can recommend the overnight spa package with dinner included. Although facilities aren’t the most modern, everywhere was clean. The massage carried out by Jess was excellent and the relaxation room a lovely space to wind down in after. The day was rounded off with an excellent three course meal. The massage and treatment service was great. The spa facilities aren’t fantastic - it has a pool open to the public which hosts swimming lessons all morning. It is very hard to relax. Overall worth the cost of a treatment but not a spa day.

Had a absolutely wonderful day at this spa. Surroundings lovely, staff so friendly, facilities spot on, and a massive thank you to Anna, who gave me my massage and left me out of pain for the first time in nearly a month. I've been to various spa days over the years and this one was definitely my number one. Can't wait to go back.
