Lovely welcome from staff at reception. Facilities good although the outdoor hot tub was been cleaned so unable to use which was disappointing. Afternoon tea was really good- the best scones I’ve ever had! Spotless and clean. Service on extra drinks was slow so ended up returning to the spa without a coffee. Treatments were nice and products lovely! Would recommend the facial. Got a reasonable price from SpaSeekers.

Having previously experienced a mud treatment I decided it would be a rejuvenating experience over the bank holiday weekend and so booked a session @ Harrogate Spa. The facilities are on par, consisting on a decent size indoor pool, steam & sauna rooms, a Jacuzzi indoor and a very lovely hot tub outdoors both areas providing lounges for relaxing. You have full use of the facilities prior and after your treatment within your 4 hour access. The mud experience is a self therapy treatment so geared at having 2 people. The mud used is soothing to the skin & hair . Staff explain how the 3 types of mud provided is used. The treatment area is sensual due to the lighting within the treatment room which intermittently changes colours whilst you relax on warm stone seats and the steam penetrates your mud based skin. Following at 30 minute of steam penetration the ceiling showers enables you to rinse of any remaining leaving you with a cleansed smooth body.

I had such a lovely visit to the Harrogate Spa at the Doubletree hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my treatments, they were very relaxing and the products used were very nice. The spa itself feels very new and modern, friendly staff and great facilities. We enjoyed a great afternoon tea too. I will certainly be back for another spa visit!

The spa is good. Not excellent but not bad. The staff were friendly and helpful but run off their feet! The venue was beautiful but the outside area needed a good clean. Had a nice visit and are nicely relaxed.

Had a lovely time with two of my sisters. We had two treatments each which were all done to a good standard and without being rushed. Particular credit must go to Laura who did my gel manicure meticulously. One of our group had afternoon tea and the rest lunch. All food was of a good standard. All highly recommended.

Did the 9am to 1pm spa morning with 2 treatments. Lovely facilities - really enjoyed the outdoor Jacuzzi on a very warm day. Excellent treatment and good lunch. Happy for us to eat at 1pm so have full time in the spa.
