Gorgeous location, facilities not high end but perfectly acceptable. Cute log cabin style hotel and accommodation. Spa massage by Sarah was excellent and restaurant food and staff were great. Possibly avoid weekend when there is a wedding as we got no sleep on second night!

I had a superb morning at the spa at Chevin Park. I had booked to go with my husband for our anniversary but as he got food poisoning last minute and couldn’t make it the staff really went out of their way to make sure I had the best time on my own, and even honoured my husbands booking for a later date so we didn’t miss out. I was so appreciative of this level of customer service. They were so kind and friendly and the spa was very peaceful which I really appreciated. I had a hot stone massage which was wonderful. Changing rooms are definitely a little tired, and the spa is by no means enormous, but I truly had a sublime morning and will definitely be back.

My partner and I attended the Wilderness Retreat Spa morning last week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and massages were great and all the staff were friendly and professional. I think it's helpful to go knowing that it's not a 5* hotel and adjusting expectations accordingly - the car park was a bit of mud pit after a lot of rain and the changing rooms are far from ideal. But all the important elements were done well and it felt like a lovely way to spend the morning.

Good overall. The staff kindly rebooked our treatments at no extra cost when we arrived too late for our initial ones. Bit run down but great treatments and good value for the price.

I bought my mum a spa trip to Chevin Country Spa & Hotel for Christmas 2022 and we went in January for one night. It was a really great experience at an amazing price too. I booked through SpaSeekers and must’ve saved about £50 because the treatments were £72 alone. Included in our deal was bed, breakfast, an evening meal, a treatment and 4 hours use of the leisure and spa facilities. We arrived early around 12pm and were told that check-in was at 3pm but we could use the facilities straight away. Gym was good, not too big but wasn’t busy at all. There was a swimming pool, steam room, outdoor Jacuzzi and wet room. Changing rooms were provided and towels, robes and slippers too. Room was lovely, with everything we needed already there. Evening meal was nice with good service, although slow at times but restaurant was quite small so that was understandable. Altogether a really good stay, would 100% recommend. All staff were friendly and there were no problems at all.
